Oww, there goes our luck to watch the charming actress re-enacting the popular nurse character played by Hema Malini….. While the news had been in town about Vidya Balan being considered to play the female lead in Soham Shah’s ‘Satte Pe Satta’ remake, of late sources revealed that the actress has refused to do the movie.

It is said that Vidya didn’t want to do it since she felt the very good old essence of the classic film can’t be regenerated. Said sources, “She feels that 'Satte Pe Satta' should not be tampered with. That film is too iconic to be copied or revised." Hmmm, that’s a point, we say. But for now the remake’s team has a problem in finding an actress.

‘Satte Pe Satta’ remake features Sanjay Dutt, the lead part which was played by Amitabh Bachchan in original.
