Superstar Amitabh Bachchan is set to push the envelope further with his home production film ‘Buddah’. In the film he is playing a role of an old man, who is young at heart. Since the film is about a man who wears his heart on sleeve even in his late 60s Abhishek Bachchan has come up with a suitable tagline for the title of the film. About which he tweeted, “Bbuddah- hoga Tera baap! How cool is that title!”

Jr Bachchan is super excited to produce a film starring his father in another hatke role and updates, “First day of AB Corps new film. BUDDAH- Hoga Tera Baap! Starring THE MAN,” and adds, “THE B back to doing what we love to see him do, might not be that young but he's definitely ANGRY! Very excited about this film.”

As soon as Big B wraps up from the Bhopal schedule of ‘Aarakshan’ he will join the team of Buddah. He posted yesterday, “Tomorrow first day for AB Corp's next ‘BBUDDAH’ ... 'hoga terra baap' ..! I will join them when I finish here in Bhopal for ‘Aarakshan’!” Dream girl Hema Malini will play his wife and Raveena Tandon will play his love interest in the film.

Superstar Salman Khan’s up-for-release film ‘Ready’ will see him shaking legs on the song ‘Character Dheela’ that has been encompassed in the film to describe his character.

Salman will be seen performing his patent dance moves in sync with the amusing lyrics. We hear the dance number had been shot in Bangkok with 100 dancers especially flown down from Mumbai. Moreover, Raju Khan and Mudassar Khan have choreographed the song that will compel the audience follow Khan’s steps.

Sonam Kapoor named brand ambassador of year

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor was named brand ambassador of the year at the NDTV Good Times Gadget Guru Awards 2011.

'I am a gadget freak. You will find everything from laptop, cellphone to iPad and iPod in my closet. They remain with me all the time. I can't leave my mobile even for five minutes. Gadgets have become a way of life today for any generation,' Sonam said in a video message after receiving the award.

She is the brand ambassador of Spice mobiles.


Sonam, who has been quite active on microblogging site Twitter, says technology comes with its positives and negatives.


'It depends how you are involved in it. Twitter is a great platform for putting down your thoughts and sharing it with others but some are desperate for fame and obnoxious. I have blocked many fame crazy people who have been obnoxious,' she added.


The awards held at the Nautanki Mahal in Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon, honoured the best in the field of consumer electronics, gadgets and technology. These awards have been instituted to honour innovation and products that truly made a difference.


Microsoft Kinect for X-box 360 received the award for the innovation of the year, gaming hardware of the year and NDTV gadget of the year-viewer's choice. On the other hand Apple iPad was named the computing device of the year and NDTV gadget of the year -jury's choice. Apple iPod Nano was named the portable audio product of the year.


Samsung Galaxy S was named smartphone of the year. Samsung won two more awards for design of the year for Samsung 3D LED TV UA55C9000 and TV of the year for Samsung 3D LED TV UA46C8000. Nokia C3 walked away with an award for budget phone of the year.


The event was hosted by NDTV's Vikram Chandra and Rajeev Makhani. It also saw some of the amazing performances by Zangoora star Hussain Kuwajerwala, Gauhar Khan and Kashmira Irani.


Apart from corporate biggies, the guest list also included music composer Anu Malik, singer Rabbi Shergill of 'Bulla ki jaana' fame, singer Shibani Kashyap, socialite Suhel Seth, designer Rina Dhaka, ace hairstylist Ambika Pillai and Siddharth Basu.

Harry Potter studio releases trailer of final film "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2,"

LONDON — Hollywood studio Warner Bros has released a short trailer boasting the "first look behind the scenes" of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2," the final installment in the hit franchise. 

The 93-second clip features soundbites from key actors, producers and director David Yates and glimpses of what its makers promise will be an action-packed finale to one of the world's most successful film series.

The first seven movies have grossed around $6.4 billion at the global box office, and the concluding film, due to hit theatres on July 15, is widely tipped to be the biggest picture of 2011, particularly because it is available in 3-D.

Included in the trailer is a kiss between Harry and Ginny Weasley and a showdown between the boy wizard and his nemesis Voldemort, in which the latter says: "Harry Potter -- the boy who lived come to die."

Emma Watson, who plays Hermione, said: "The scale of this one feels enormous. Your heart's going to race -- it's a really very intense ending."

Yates added: "It's a much more spectacular action picture."

The pace of Deathly Hallows - Part 1 was relatively subdued, critics said, and cast and crew have been promising a more explosive denouement.

Somy Ali, Salman Khan renewing love.......

Salman Khan’s past love is back in his life. She is Pakistani actress and model Somy Ali. Somy and Salman hit the headlines way back in 90’s when their love was at the peak. But things went wrong between them and Somy returned to the US but she did not totally cut ties with her ex beau. All through these years, Sallu and Somy was very much in touch. Now the duo is renewing their love in Bangkok while shooting for ‘Ready’.

Somy arrived in Bangkok to meet Salman in the last days of his shoot. While the rest of the crew stayed at Hotel Sukumvit, Sallu and Somy stayed at the luxurious Hotel Landmark. Though Somy never came to catch Sallu on the set of ‘Ready’ both spend quality time together after the shoot.

"She and Salman spent a lot of time together after the day's shoot would get over. They were seen shopping in various places in Bangkok and looked happy and comfortable like two people who have been with each other for many years," a source from Bangkok confirmed.

"All through her stay Salman was very protective of Somy. She did not come on the sets but he was with her all the time after the shoot.

They were quiet discreet, he didn't want to be in the public eye," he added.

Now, the million dollar question is whether Salman is thinking to settle down with Somy. Can't say, anything can happen, afterall, it is Bollywood.

Meet the new Khatron Ke Khiladi host: Salman Khan

Salman Khan is hot property on TV. There's no denying that. That said, Akshay Kumar is no pushover, either.

So imagine the shock Akki was in for when he heard from friends that Salman Khan had ousted him as host of the upcoming fourth season of Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi.
According to a source, the Dabangg star is already on for KKK4. "Salman shot a promo for KKK4 in Bangkok while shooting for Bhushan Kumar's Ready. He would never shoot a promo unless he had signed a contract.

The channel is debating on how to break the news to Akshay who was kicked about hosting the show's fourth season."

A source explains the shift in loyalties. "After successful runs with 10 Ka Dum and Bigg Boss 4 and his runaway hit, Dabangg, Salman is on a hot streak. He's friends with Colors' head, Ashwini Yardi.

He has hinted on giving them a bargain a double deal for Big Boss 5 and KKK 4. The clincher could be BB4's higher TRPs than Akshay has ever had on his show for the same channel."

Exit clause

These factors have convinced the channel to do a rethink despite signing AK to host KKK4. Apparently, both the actor and the channel have an exit clause where one can opt out of the deal without having to break it.

Colors is exploring this clause as Akki has already shot for a promo for KKK4 in South Africa in February.

Says a source close to Akshay, "He has heard the rumours of Salman replacing him but is choosing not to believe them till the channel tells him so.

He refuses to believe that Salman would do something so underhand."

When asked to comment, Ashwini Yardi says, "I cannot say anything at this point." While Akki and Sallu remained unavailable for comment.

For Sony's 10 Ka Dum, Salman was paid Rs 90 crore for 100 episodes. When he realised that Akshay was being paid Rs 1.5 crore for 16 episodes to host Colors' Khatron Ke Khiladi, he was upset. Sallu refused to come on the sets until his price was hiked. Sony was in a fix. The show with Salman had already been announced and the promos were to soon go on air. It was finally agreed that Salman should be paid a crore per episode, making him richer by Rs 104 crore for 100 episodes!

On Monday, Hrithik Roshan created history of sorts when he shot his first music video for a television show, and that too with a director with whom he did one of his earliest feature films. Director Arjun Sablok who directed Hrithik in the film Na Tum Jaano Na Hum in 2002 was back directing Hrithik for what promises to be the most unique music-video ever shot by an Indian dancing-star. After shooting the music video with Hrithik on Monday, Sablok now wants to bring alive the characters from the 2002 film again….But with plenty of dancing. "There's no getting away from Duggu's dancing. It's like the Taj Mahal in Agra. I'd be stupid to turn away from it. While doing this music video I realized how impossibly flawless Duggu's dancing is. Padukone’s latest offering is “Dum Maro Dum’ alongside Bengali girl Bipasha Basu, to be released in April. The promos of the movie have just hit the small screen and it shows Deepika is dancing to a revamped version of the retro number wearing skimpy clothes

According to Deepika, it seems the fan wants her to know every emotion the trailer has inspired in him. So, he sent Deepika a total of nine skirts of varying lengths, just to let her know how he or she feels.
Deepika was quite taken aback. She had just returned from her shooting schedule in Bhopal for her upcoming movie “Aarakshan”. Usually Padukone has a separate room where she keeps al her fan mail and items that her fans have sent her. The items are generally chocolates, cards and soft toys. Deepika’s last released movie was “Khele hum jee jaan se” by Asutosh Gowariker, co starring Abhishek Bachchan. The movie was on the Chittagong uprising in 1930. She played the role of Kalpana Dutta.
