Deepika Padukone receives queer presents from fans

Mar 21, BangaloreActress Deepika Padukone has just landed herself an unusual gift from an unknown fan. Padukone’s latest offering is “Dum Maro Dum’ alongside Bengali girl Bipasha Basu, to be released in April. The promos of the movie have just hit the small screen and it shows Deepika is dancing to a revamped version of the retro number wearing skimpy clothes
According to Deepika, it seems the fan wants her to know every emotion the trailer has inspired in him. So, he sent Deepika a total of nine skirts of varying lengths, just to let her know how he or she feels.
Deepika was quite taken aback. She had just returned from her shooting schedule in Bhopal for her upcoming movie “Aarakshan”. Usually Padukone has a separate room where she keeps al her fan mail and items that her fans have sent her. The items are generally chocolates, cards and soft toys. She makes it a point to read through her fan mail and even replying to some of them.
Deepika’s last released movie was “Khele hum jee jaan se” by Asutosh Gowariker, co starring Abhishek Bachchan. The movie was on the Chittagong uprising in 1930. She played the role of Kalpana Dutta.
